When comparing tech bindings with alpine ones we can state that the toe piece is much stiffer and precise on the tech ones. We cannot say the same for the heel parts: on tech bindings, the boot sole cannot be in touch with the ski because every boot has a different sole thickness. With the new adjustable FREERIDE SPACER we covered and exceeded the gap in between tech and alpine bindings providing an astonishing downhill performance. 2 elastic sliding pads and creates a contact between the boot sole and the ski in order to transfer vertical and torsional loads. The 2 pads grant a proper side release value also when the spacer is loaded during jumps or compressions.
